Hello guys,
I want to collect data on people for my references and info.
What I am looking for to do; is creating a batch and also bash file that will give me a list of queries that I can fill out. It needs to be complicated with loops and re-directories.When done filling out the queries, it out puts them all correctly formatted in the batch and bash file for me / anyone to review the entries (While it’s busy saving the info in the back).
It’s not to just output to a text file. I want it more detailed than that.
U:\Operating systems\(Gender)\# (# = first letter of last name)\(LAST NAME, FIRST, MIDDLE)Example Queries:
NAME
First: Ace
Middle: Jacob
Last: AlliasDate of Birth
Month: 01
Date: 01
Year: 1991And so on, entries can be added later.
Thanks guys ;)
Homework? Best thing to do look through your books for sample code and modify it to fit your needs.

Unfortunately I can't. I havent done any shell scripting since college. Maybe do some Googling for inspiration. The best way to learn is by doing. ASCII question, get an ANSI
