Hi everyone,
I have spent many days to search information on the internet and as well as in this forums about "how to creat a network boot disk" for Windows OS, but I am still confusing a few things. I what understood is that in order to create a network boot disk, I must have a Windows NT 4 CD and use the Network Client Administrator utility to create the network boot disk, right? Now I need an expert to give me some lights on this topic.
Can we create a network boot disk without using Windows NT 4 CD?
Let see I have a Windows network boot disk, I can use that boot disk to access "any" computer in the LAN that contains the image of the computer that I want to restore, is that righ?

Barts makes about the best network boot disk for ms clients and novell.
There are countless other choices from Barts other project the BartsPE as well as plenty of bsd and linux choices. I like G4U myself if a floppy. BartsPE or UBCD4win for CD. Even usb choices.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10
