Create search option for HTML database

July 14, 2010 at 12:03:00
Specs: Windows XP
I work in a small MNC, where i have created a HTML database to store few process related information. This was created using framesets.
1 frame for header
2 frame for navigation links on the left side of the page
3 frame which is the main frame to display the content when some one clicks on the links which are on left hand navigation panes.

Now i want to create a search option where if someone searches for a word, then that person should be able to see the content related to his search criteria.

"HTML database" does not compute.

Forget about frames, that's just the presentation. Where is your data actually stored? Do you in fact have a database (something like MySQL or MSSQL. HTML is NOT a database). If there is no database, you can use something like the Google search API to search your flat pages.

Ok, your second question has nothing to do with your first. You can create the website at whatever URL you like. You;ll need to create appropriate DNS records for the hostname and configure your web server accordingly. What does that have to do with search?
