Hi all. I'm here one more time to ask some little thing.
If someone can tell me how to create a new MBR (Master Boot Record) if the default lost.
The situation is:
First I install XP. After LINUX Red Hat. The problem is that I could not finish the Linux Instalation. So I The linux not install the MBR, and now I can't boot XP.
Someone can tell me how to change my MBR to boot XP, if is it possible.
The RECOVeRY CONSOLE can undetake this at the NT COMMAND PROMPT, type FIXMBR and press ENTER.

A little advice - hope you are trying to install Linux on a different partition then XP. During installation choose to use LILO, GRUB, etc. to boot Linux and write boot sector to Linux install partition. If you use LILO, there is plenty of info on the Internet on how to copy the boot sector to C:\ and set up the XP boot.ini file to use it.
Rule #1 Good computers don't go down. Rule #2 There is no such thing as a good computer.
