I have lots of shortcuts on my desk top. I want to creat a folder to place on my desktop to hold all these short cuts so they are not being stored on my desk top but in a folder on my desktop. I have several folders now that are present on my desktop with shortcuts in them but I did not create them.
phslaght, what you describe is quite simple. Create a new folder and name it, then either drag/drop the desired shortcuts to the new folder or RIGHTCLICK each and 'send to'. That'll consolidate 'em then you can simply delete any left over detritus. HTH. Ed in Texas.
