Specs: Windows XP
Any help would be great. I am receiving CRC errors when receiving a fax from one telephone number and I don't receive the whole fax. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem would be at the other end not yours.

You can always call the phone company, complain about static on the line and have them run a test to make sure your line is clean.

I did that last week and they even came out to the house on Saturday. Any problems were fixed. This is the only number I am having issues with. I just needed a second opinon, as I thought it might be on their end. Thank you for the advice.

Tell the other person to transmit at a slower speed.

Could be your end too (most likely them). We don't know if other sites are using compression. What it is saying is a data packet is either not sent correctly or you weren't able to decode the package correctly. You have no way to tell with out other tests.

Could be line noise or even a dsl filter on wrong.

The program that I use to send and receive faxes has a modem exchange where I can watch or see what is being transmitted. Here is the results from the number that was sending a fax to me.
