I have been thinking about using this but I have heard some people say things like, after they used it Firefox wouldn't work right or that it messed up other programs like that. Is there anything I should look for or be aware of to avoid problems like that?

I use FF about 99% of the time and never had a problem with Crap Cleaner. Never had CC mess up anything. You shouldn't have any problems with it.
