I have 2 hardrives C: and F:. Crap Cleaner is loaded on C:. If I delete a file from F: it is moved to the recycle bin on C:. I run Crap Cleaner and it deletes the Recycle bin items. Are my files that were deleted from F: retrievable from F: or does Crap cleaner erase them from F: when the recycle bin on C: is cleaned? I use the DOD security deletion. I just want to know if the files deleted from F: are actually being cleaned. Thanks for your help.

Each drive has its own Recycle Bin. Files are not moved when they are deleted. When you view the files the contents off all the recycle bins are shown together. Its the path name where the original file came from that you need to take notice off.
If the recycle bin is empty them all files are deleted. If you want to recover a file after that you need some specialised software to do it but the original data is still on the original drive.

CCleaner will clear the folder 'recycler' on EACH local drive, using the specified method, IF 'empty recycle bin' is checked.
