Cpu,ram, or graphic driver crash

Specs: Windows XP, single core 1.8GhZ / 512mbRAM
Hello, I have a problem with my pc. it was all fine but i was away about 2 weeks,pc haven't been turn on. when i came back a problem apperead, while i am watching a video on youtube,a movie and etc. my pc "goes nuts", distorted lines appear on the background (fullscreen),and pc restarts, thats the same when i play games. i cleaned the dust,all the drivers are up to date ant windows are newly reinstaled. is it possible to fix it wihout buying parts or smthg? thanks

Are you using any anti virus or not? It looks that due to virus attack the display driver is affected and when ever you play any video or game etc, it crashes down to restart your pc.

You should use any reliable anti virus after that reinstall the display driver and your problem will be no more.

hmm i dont think thats the problem. im using avast! antivirus. and as i said, windows were newly reinstaled when i saw the problem,but it didn't solved anything. btw i cleaned only c disk,on d disk was only music, and i didn't cleaned it,can it be that the your said virus can be in some .mp3 files? if that could be the case,i would try to format d disk, but now i dont really want to try it, cuz i have alot of songs and the deletion wouldn't be the best case :|
