My CPU is running at approx 50% even when nothing's running. This is causing me to be unable to run games like DOOM3 etc as the CPU hits max and the computer hangs up. I've run virus check and found nothing. Have run Spybot and Ad-aware and got rid of all issues but problem still remains. The only thing i can see in task mgr is svchost running all the time. Ive even tried a coupl of suggestions i found on here such as disabling ssdp in services but the problem still remains. Please help me this is driving me nuts!
