There are other options that are also available than trying to upgrade the cpu. As you are all ready at the max for memory a cpu upgrade wouldn't do that computer that much good.

The option that I would look into would be finding a suitable motherboard/cpu combo that could be used to replace the one now being used. Get a good measurement of the board and look on line for a combo unit that might fit the space.
