Hello all,
I got a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ with a gigabyte motherboard(k7 triton).I need a utility that can display the motherboard, cpu temperature, gpu temperature etc in degree celcius and can give me alerts/alarms when my processor is being fried. It should also load on start-up.

Thanx for helping me in advance,
ROCKO

Check under freeware at

www.snapfiles.com

You should find several utilities to perform the function you want.

Should be a function in the BIOS that will shut the system down when a certain selected temp is reached.

YOu have the same motherboard I do...

Look on your motherboard disk. Under maybe a folder called utilities...

Install the EAsy Tune. That does it all.

As for alarms, they are in your bios and may be disabled by default. Just enable them.
