just installed XP My nero is playing up ...If i write @ 12x the cpu starts to fluctuate really badly (up to 100%)causing the writer to stop responding (its burnproof). I have a 800 Athlon & 512 sdram (133). Yet if i write @ 8x there is no problems like this.Is it possible that something else is using alot of my cpu?. Dont know what thoe as i have shut everything else down....... I have tried to install another version of nero (5551)yet the same happens....PLEASE HELP.

I'd say it's your burner. For example my friend has the exact same pc as me (Athlon 1.33 w/ 1gig of ram) but he has a Ricoh burner and I have a Plextor.

His CPU usage fluctuates like yours, but mine stays steady at like 2 - 3%. Just a suggestion.

I would recommend you not to use a keygenned serial, you'd better use a crack...
