How do I check to see if CPU fan and Power Supply unit are working properly? Also, the bottom of my laptop gets really hot quickly. Is that normal? Could it be that my fan is not working?

Hi yllek,
Sounds like the fan is the problem. As far as I know the only way to find out is to open the case. An uncooled CPU can get really hot. In fact hot enough to put a nasty burn on you.
Also, read this about hot laptops. You might find it funny.
