when i try to uninstall motherboard monitor 5, i get an error message that says 'could not open install.log file'. any suggestions would be appreciated

johnnywasnaked:
If you don't receive a solution to your install.log file problem tonight, email me tomorrow. I'm at a friend's PC right now, so I don't have access to my files.
The solution is a sequence of RUN commands which opens the UNWISE uninstaller fairly quickly.
Incidentally, this issue is one which has affected Lavasoft's Adaware, RegHancer, etc.
Since I'm not familiar with Motherboard Monitor 5, I can't recommend the standard procedure of pulling it out by the teeth (ie., registry keys, folders, files). 8-)

It is probably running in the background , use the program options or edit the startup in Task Manager .
Or , it may be running down next to the clock .
Using Safe Mode , may be another option .

five minutes after i posted the message i thought maybe it would work if i used add/remove programs in the control panel, and you know what? it did. thanks for the tips though.

Yea I have a ?, I'm trying to delete Yahoo messenger but I keep getting could not open install.log file every time. I've done the control panel way, but it does not remove it. Help!!, thanks in advance.

Have you checked that it is not running in the background ?
