corrupt jpg files

March 6, 2009 at 01:04:22
Specs: Windows XP
I was moving some pictures around in folders and it seems that some got corrupted. When I try to open my picture folder DEP runs and closes my windows explorer. How do I remove these corrupt files? I can't delete the whole folder because there are other folders within that are fine. Chkdsk didn't find any error. I am not super technical, so please explain in English :)
Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

... first download this useful tool:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System...

... open it, browse to folder ie, My Documents, {double click} My Pictures, select one of the [many?] files you wish to delete.

... Press delete all files in folder.

... the program leaves a "bat" file on your desktop if thats were you ran it, delete it [or if you're interested R/click option edit to view the contents, the "bat file" alone would of done the trick]

Grrrr
