I have two questions.

I'm trying to copy a DVD to my computer and I was suggested by a friend to rip it as an ISO. How do I do that?

I have a file that I would like to copy off to a DVD but the size of the file is over 3.0 GB and Nero says the file is too big to copy so how do I make the file smaller, if that is possible, so that it will fit to a DVD?

Thanks for the help.

download imgburn and open the iso, then select burn to cd

if it`s less then 4.7 GB, then it will fit in a DVD

Do a Googlr search for 'free ISO maker'. I use 'EasyISO'.

DVDs will hold over 4gb of data. Maybe you were using a CD and not a DVD?

I was using a DVD to copy it to. The message I get when trying to do this is The file is larger than 2 GB and can not be stored in an ISO file system. Please use the UDF file system for such large files. This can be done by selecting another compilation type. (sorry, I thought it said 3 but it says 2 and the file type is .avi)

I finally found a program that copied that program I wanted copied to a DVD on to one.

Now, for a doozy, does this make any sense? When I have the disk in my computer, the entire program will play but when I put the disk into my DVD player, it will only play half of the show and cut off. Have any of you ever had that happen?
