copying files 98 to xp

i have installed two windows 98 and xp,98 is installed in drive c and xp is in drive d,please tell me how can we copy files from 98 to xp and xp to 98?thanks a lot

There are many ways. The traditional approaches:
copy c:\myfile d:\
or
copy d:\myfile c:\
If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Copying files from XP to 98 is the same as copying within XP. Copying from 98 to XP is not possible if XP is using NTFS. Win98 has the FAT32 file system and cannot access drives that use the NTFS file system. There are programs that can change a NTFS drive to FAT32 if needed, Partition Magic is one.

It's probably a little late to do this now, but in the future...when setting up a dual- (or multi-) boot system...create another partition or two for apps & data. The data partition can be shared by both Operating Systems, so there's no need to copy files between them.
