Alright, here's the problem.

my first hard disk (we'll say HD1) has bad sectors, its still accessable (barely), but running my comp off it causes many freezes. My second disk (Hd2) is a secondary slave, formatted, and i can drag-copy files over from HD1, booting from HD1. Here; the problem is the fact I want all my files from Hd1 on Hd2, then i'll set hd2 as the master, and remove hd2. Is there any way I can do this? and if there's a program, where can I get it. Thanks in advance.

edit: and yeah, i know about xcopy. But, for some reason "xcopy c:\*.* D:\/c/h/e/k/r" just flashes up the box, which then disappears. ::sighs::

Go to the website of your hard drive manufacturer and download a FREE copy program.

erm, k. I have the HD imaged, but, the first is still there, and although all the files from the first are on the second HD, if i remove the first windows fails to load, and the first is obviously still being used (as im still getting errors). Windows fails at the bluescreen with windows XP logo on it, after the initial bootup, just before it'd come up with which user I wanted to login as. Any ideas on how to fix that?
