Copy floppy to floppy

Hi Guys! I am really puzzled here and hope someone can help.I have a boot floppy disk that works fine and I want to copy it to another floppy disk to give to a family member.It seems to copy fine but when I boot up with it(the copy) I get an error about pool data.It doesn't make sense to me cause the files look the same on both disk yet floppy #1 with boot up but not the copied one. Whats wrong here? Thanks for an help.

How did you do the copy? Copy the files as in copy *.* Then if it is a boot disk then that wont work, it wont copy the boot sector.
To do a full copy got to a command prompt and type diskcopy a: a: and follow the prompts inserting each disk as required. You can append /v to the command which will verify the copy is correct.
