Converting QBASIC program to EXE

I have QB 4.5 and have successfully converted many of my QBASIC programs into EXE files, which all run satisfactorily. However, for one particular program, when converted into .EXE, stops after a stage, and shows the statement: "OUT OF STRING SPACE IN LINE <number> of MODULE <filename>". However, the same program runs quite ok as .BAS file on QB 4.5.

debaldeb, Filetext lists several .bas files. " BAS QuickBASIC Extended v7.1 Source BAS VBDOS Pro 1.0 Source BAS BASIC Source Code BAS HBasic Source Code" Most seem to be some sort of data (source)file. Sure it was designed to be run? HTH. Ed in Texas.
