Received an email with an attachment containiNg an html movie. Can I convert this to a pps or whatever and save same?

there is no such thing as an html movie. You were probably sent a link to the movie's location. Go to that link, right click on the link to the movie and select "save as".

I am not sure, but maybe what your browser needs
and may not have is FLASH player. You may be able to view it with Flash. Free download.
