Specs: Windows XP service pack 2
Hello everyone

I used to be able to play some music files. I had downloaded them for free because there was a special offer from K-mart when you purchase a product you get free music downloads from Sonicstage. Unfortunately the company has gone in a different direction and no longer offers support.

I know you did not need to know all the information but I wrote it because it might explain why I have a music format that is not that common. The files I think used to be in mp3 but without me doing anything they converted to oma.

I tried to find converters but how do I know which ones work. Also I read this is a sony protected format.

Yes I had called Sony a long time ago but they did not help.

Sonic Stage wrote that the music would still still be able to play after they changed direction but that did not happen. I tried to contact them but were of no help.

What can I do?

Thank you for the response but I read through many of them and which is the best option. Can any of this be done without installing Sonic Stage? I think I still have it on my computer. If not is it worth downloading again?

Has any one used the Hi-MD Renderer?

Why does Sony make it so difficult?

Sonicstage promised the files would work. They never mentioned you had to convert it. I still have the document stating this information.

Why will Sony not help? After all it is there format.

I know large corporations are not the best at keeping contracts.

If they do not follow them maybe it would be better if they were honest and say we are not going to bother with a contract then signing one.

Why is it we have to follow their contracts but they do not have to follow their own?

I wonder where the activist lawyers are in all this? They could make so much profit by suing every company that does not adhere to contracts they signed.

We need new leaders in business and finance.

Please vote for honest leaders that support people instead of saying big corporations are people.
