m3u files are playlist files, created when you create a playlist. There isn't a program out there to create music files out of thin air.

Hi mirna,
An m3u is a 'playlist' not the audio itself.
An m3u looks like this:
::** E:\IN\Astral Projection - Trance Dance.mp3 E:\IN\Infected Mushroom VS Liranran - Double Click (Piano Version).mp3 E:\IN\Sprectre - I Swear.mp3 E:\IN\Cat Stevens - Here Comes My Baby.mp3 E:\IN\St Germain - Albama Blues.mp3 E:\IN\TECHNO Dance Club Remixes - Techno Trance.mp3 E:\IN\Louisiana Fog - Leavin'.mp3 ::**

Yup, playlist files.
I did a search on my machine and found 271 of 'em. All are 1 or 2KBs. (way smaller than any audio type)
sorry

Hi mirna,
To be more helpful, I can say that some player/burner software [MusicMatch is one] will have a button to 'burn from playlist' or 'create audio CD from playlist'.

Summary: I agree with Oil_Tan CDex as it is free, small and easy. It too allows you to connect to remote data bases in order to automatically get the ID3 tag information for CD songs but in your case is irrele...
