control alt delete

I have an HP pavilion 520n
Windows xp
1.3 ghz
512 mb
cd-rw
dvd

My control alt delete combination does not work. Nothing happens. It is not the key that don't work but something else. It did work at one time long ago.

Anyone have a fix for this

as far as i know there isn't a windows way to 'turn it off', so what software have you got installed that might be messing with those particular keys?

Software shouldn't be able to catch control-alt-delete...the OS will get it before the software does.

Maybe something is wrong with your taskman.exe program?

Right click empty space on Taskbar - select
Task Manager - do you get it then or have you 'lost' Task Manager completely?

The only time I 'lost' Task Manager, it was due to the Klez Worm - have you scanned lately?
