Ok, I can't stand this and I dont know what to do. I was having terrible issues (constant erroring and shutting down, then "Verifying DMI pool data disk boot failure..." blah blah blah)
So I buy a new motherboard, processor, powersupply, cd drive.
The only old things i have in here is 2 harddrive both of which are not older than 9 months. An ethernet card, a videocard, a soundcard, and the floopy drive.
Now all of the wires are brand new inside with the excpetion of the tiny wire that goes fromt he motherboard to the cd drive for the audio.
I can not handle these errors, last night i'm using my computer when it shuts down by its self and when it starts to boot it freezes on a black screen with a white mouse pointer there. I load it up in safe mode to do a system restore and it freezes halfway through that. then...this morning i turn it back on and it shows "Verifying DMI pool data...boot from cd: disk boot fairure".....again.
Now note: when this happened before i replaced the cd rom drive and it worked fine. and now i'm using a brand new cd rom drive that i -know- works.
The errors are becoming like an everyday thing for me guys, and i could really use some help here. Any ideas what so ever?
Please and Thanks
Ronnie

Any fool can make a rule and any fool will follow it

Making a major upgrade like changing the MOBO and CPU will make it impossible to boot especially with win xp unless one prepares the OS before hand, You are now way beyond that point. your only options are to try a repair install but I am doubtful that will work because the OS has tried to boot and has probably hosed itself, or you can do a clean install which is the option I would use.
