Can someone please tell me if it woudl be okay to use the Windows 2000 drivers with my intergrated mothboard soundcard AU8810, and what the cons and pros are. What are the limitation, thanks!

I can not tell you that it will ok to use Win2k drivers for your Aureal onboard sound. But I can tell you chances are that it will work flawlessly and you will not notice any problems.
PROS Four speaker support. Louder sound output over MS Win2K drivers. Better sound quality.
CONS Win2K control panel applet does not function in WinXP. (Alternative available -- see links below.) A theoritical chance of them not working.
