A little situation I'm having and I was hoping to find some help:
1. My PS2 is located in my living room right now 2. My PS2 has the network adapter with the kat-5 plugin for online play 3. My PC is located in another room 4. My PC has cable internet through a modem 5. My PC has the three prong slots (red, yellow and white + a S-TV slot as well) <--All located on the back of my PC tower 6. I have attempted to hook my PS2 up through my PC to play through the monitor with the proper cords inserted into the PC tower 7. In order to play online do I have to hook my PS2 up to my PC AND a TV? Or is there a way I can play my PS2, hooked up to my PC, through the monitor?

You do NOT need to hook up your PS2 to your PC in order to play online.
Hooking the video cables to your PC to display on the monitor *might* be possible, but is definitely not needed.
You need to give your PS2 internet access. You can either get a router to share your cable connection between the computre and PS2 or use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) to share the connection through your PC - the PC acts as host to the PS2. Your PC will need to have two network cards in order to do this.
