Having issues with my svchost.exe. PC has bee working fine on a massive network for years and all of a sudden no one was able to connect to my pc in any way remotely or connect to my share drive but i could connect to everything and everyone fine. Looking over my event viewer logs i get error 7023 relating to the svchost saying The system cannot find the file specified. How can this be resolved without reinstalling my whole PC?

If something happened all of a sudden, Try System Restore to a date when all was good. Start >All Programs >Accessories >System Tools
Using System Restore too many times can cause more harm than good. After doing a restore that does not fix a problem, then UNDO the Restoration, and try another restore point, or just do the UNDO.
