connection icon incorrect

CPU/Ram: pentium

The system tray shows a two icons with the red X through them showing no network or system connection. As this posting shows I am on the internet and I can access my other network computer with no problem. Why would the icons suddenly indicate no connection when there is one!!!

You might find a clue for this apparent paradox in your Network Connections page. There could be previously created but now non-existent Network connections.[ Click Start>Settings>Control Panel> Network Connections ]

Checked and there are no extra network connections.

there is only you arent seeing it cuz a noob has removed a networkcard without removing it from windows first.
