connection dropping

connection keeps dropping at varying time from 10 mins to 30 mins and can not seem to solve it tried modem in another pc and works fine tried another modem same make and modle in my pc still getting the same problems can any please help

Have you done a virus scan? That sounds like a symptom of the Sassar virus. You can do an online scan at www.housecall.antivirus.com.
