I have two winwp pro computers that I am using a direct connect cable to connect them. After I use the new connection wizzard to set up host and guest computers they connect but I can't locate either computer or share files. Help me if you can.

Do you have a firewall running, if so, you must allow the computers to see each other. Bob

Don't use the wizard. Do it manualy, It much easyer then the wizard. The wizard makes things more complex and it does a Auto configuration in the XP & puts in the XP firewall too. Thats when things stuff up and cause problems. Only use the wizard if you no what your doing and familier with XP.
