Install a new NIC card (hardwired) or wireless card. and connect to the one of your choosing.

I don't believe that you can be connected to TWO servers at the same time without conflicts so i would opt to disconnect one before connecting to the other.

Are the workgroup computers on the same wire as your domain? Just because you share internet access does not mean you have access to those workgroup pcs.

Installing a second nic does not address the fact you can not be a member of a domain and a workgroup at the same time.

If your domain and workgroup are on the same ip subnet no addtional hardware is required.

First step is go to one of the workgroup pcs and at a cmd prompt type ipconfig /all Note the ip address, dns servers ip. Compare these to your results of ipconfig /all

Post those results and we can then proceed to guide you on how to access the workgroup from your domain based pc.

You need a gre tunnel or other tunnel that supports fully the protocols that you might need to use workgroups across the internet I'd think.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
