I want to know how to configure my laptop to be able to connect to my home roadrunner cable and my office dsl cable just by plugging the different cables into the ethernet jack. I can get one to connect, but once I go to the office or to the house connection and try to connect that different cable I have to go through the dos prompt, "ipconfig", "renew", and all that and usually have to unplug the modem then everything works. Of course when I try to hook up again at the other connection I am back to square one. How do I just "plug and play" between cables? Is this a configuration setting or something to do with isp's or ip's or dhcp or whatever? Thanks for any help, Jeff
