I am looking for a hardware device that would allow me to connect 2 computers to one printer. The printer is a USB printer. I don't want to conect the computers via the network because sometimes our network goes down and then I can no longer use the printer. I am looking for a device that will switch it automatically. I know I can set up a network to do this but that is not an option (long story). Just need to find a USB Printer Switching Device that will automatically recognize which computer is sending it information and send that information to the printer. Thanks!

How far apart are the computers? this device is max 15 feet which is the most allowed by USB protocol!
