OS: XP Pro SP1
CPU/Ram: P3 700 256mb RAM

Hi,

I've installed the driver for PC-Linq (v1.6)on both computers and plugged in the usb cable to both computers (one notebook, one desktop) but pc linq is not detecting either local or the remote clients. Any suggestions?

yeah, use ethernet & a crossover cable... its faster, more stable and doesnt suck
