Hi!
Up until now, i haven't had any problems with Win XP, but suddenly, when I restart my computer and try to logon again, it says something like: configuration registry database corrupt-windows will log you on with a temporaly profile.

I have tried to reinstall, but it gives me the same freaking error (format c:, reinstall, twice)
If it is a hardware related matter, then what is there to do about it???
Anyone know how to fix this???

I loged onto my computer and my msn messenger was deleted without anyone actually deleting it. I tried reinstalling msn messenger but a pop up message would appear saying:
INF Install Failure. Reason: The configuration registry database is corrupt.
At the end of the message there's a button saying OK and when I press the button the reinstallation ends and I can't get msn messenger installed.
I've been trying to reinstall msn messenger for more than 10 days now and that pop up message keeps on interfering.
What is wrong, what is happening and how could I get my msn messenger back without that pop up message interfering???
Sincerely,
Candice
