Hi, All.
I have several Computing_Net HTML files in my Help folder. Since upgrading my PC I get the "The Web Page You Requested is not Available Offline" message. By clicking OK I can read the message, but why am I getting it? I am using IE 6.

How did you "Upgrade" your PC? Are the html files shortcuts to the webpages, or did you actually save the post as html format? Are you indeed connected to the net when you try and open the files?

Jennifer,
Thank you for your reply.

The Motherboard and HDD were replaced and also extra RAM installed. (Previous Athlon now Intel Celeron)

The files are not shortcuts, I did save them as HTML format and I could read them perfectly on my last PC.

I am not conected to the Internet when I open the files.

This is not unusual - likely embedded ads trying to update (and failing)

Thanks for the suggestion. I can read the Computing_Net files if I download using any of the saving formats. It's only the already downloaded ones that I'm having trouble with. It's really only the popup Error message that I have to contend with as the message seems to be partially open in the background.

Ted.
