Computer won't turn off from start menu

Hi. At first, my computer use to shut down completely when i clicked on start > turn off computer > and then Turn Off.... Now my computer just restarts when i select turn off... What could be causing this unusual sequence?
Secondly. I installed Fifa 2002... and I can play the game on xp with no problems at all...when I restart my computer, and then attempt to play the game, it says that fifa is not properly installed... any suggestions on that one?

Blake, My wife had that same problem with her pc when I installed xp pro on it, she would click shut down, the pc would shut down then immeadiately restart, it was the most retarded thing i've seen. I disabled the Wake on Lan utility and never had the problem again, just an idea if you are on a network!
