Comment:
When I start the computer I get right away the following message: "press esc to change boot order - press F2 to enter set-up - press F12 to boot from LAN" Sometimes it will pass this automatically, but often gets stuck in that screen. Even Escape/F2/F12 don't work. A friend told me to press 'F2' ot 'delete' inmediately when the message appears and sometimes it works to pass the 'boot' message and get the computer working. But lately it it gets stuck, even after using 'reset' and try many times again and again... Any help/advice please?

I am not an expert in computers but it should be directed to the hard drive... if that answers your question.

When your computer boots, press F2 to enter setup. Then find the entry that lists the boot order. The HDD should be the only option selected (or listed first, depending on the BIOS).

Thanks for help. The thing is that as soon as I start up my computer I get this screen with 'press esc to change boot order etc' and the screen freezes there, so cannot do anything at all anymore. sometimes can pass by if I push 'delete' or 'F2' when the message comes. In taht case the computer starts up as it normally does.. so I basically want to know how I get through this screen without getting stuck...
