POWER WENT OFF IN HOUSE NOW COMPUTER WON'T START. LIGHT FLASHES ON POWER BUTTON

I'm not hopeful but try this: Turn off computer, unplug mains, then hold power on/off button in for about 20 secs.
There's just a slight chance that the hardware is remembering some data corrupted when the power failed.Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
We know you have a computer. That is all we know. You need to provide more detail. laptop or desktop? Brand and model. Typing in all caps is considered shouting.
Firstly, please release your capslock. Typing in all capitals is considered shouting. Often when there is a power failure it is accompanied by a surge that damages components. A flashing LED does not guarantee that the powersupply in your system wasn't damaged. That is your starting point. Without a known good powersupply you cannot begin to test other components.
