computer wont boot-up period!

OS: windows xp professional
CPU/Ram: 1 simm card

Hey I just brought home a computer and it wont get any power in any way...I just changed it and put yet another power supply in it and still the same thing. Everything is new in this computer but it wont start here at home but at the class it did.. I got it with loans and grants..

Sounds like you just need to switch your pwr. switch from 240v to 120v. at the back of the computer.

That happened to me once.

Or, something may have shook loose when you were bringing it home. Check all connections.
