computer will not start

my computer was acting strange, restarting itself and freezing. once it restarted itself and wouldnt turn back on for 4 days. the power lights go on for about 1 second then go back off, not even a beep. the computer has been working for 2 years without this problem and it just started, any help would be appreciated

Have you checked the battery? Do you have warning sounds for low battery enabled? Will it let you always start in the safe mode?

Star by disconnecting all the drives (power and signal), unplug all the cards except the video card. That will help isolate the hardware problem.

Check the Wake on Modem cable connected to the MB... RG

When did you upgrade your pc for a XP?
You could not use XP for these 2 years.

I changed the hatd drive there after my computer would not even start doesn't even count the Base memory, can you please help
