Hi,
My computer boots up by itself after a minute of me shutting it down. It is completely off, no sound, and suddenly I will hear fans running and my comptuer loading up. This problem only happens when I have a network cable plugged into the network card. I went into bios and turned off "wake up on lan" but that didn't help the problem, any suggestions?

Open the PC and see if there is a 2 wire cable going from the network card to the MoBo.
If there is remove it. That is the wake on LAN cable.
If the NIC is on the MoBo then the setting in the BIOS should work.

Thanks, I decided to give bios a look again and see if wake up on LAN is still disabled, (I disabled it a year ago and just decided to live with the problem until now) and I noticed there there was a wake up on PME. I then disable that as well and it fixed the problem.
