After you do the below Post your Hijack log
as Tufenuf has stated above.
If your computer is running to slow you may have to post the Hijack log before you use Defragment.

http://www.download.com/HijackThis/...

http://www.ccleaner.com/download/

CCleaner is free and will give you some help.
ccleaner will do the list below except for
Defragment.

To clean out unwanted files and help speed up your computer.

Start - Control Panel - Internet Options open -
Delete cookies, Delete files (select all off-line content) - Clear History. Click OK to Exit.

Then go to Start - Run - Enter %temp% - Click OK - Click Edit - Click Select All - Delete.

Start - Run-
Enter - C:\windows\temp - OK - and select everything except temporary internet files, cookies and history folders and delete them.

Then Restart your computer.

Then use the Defragmenter.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Defragmenter - Analyze and Defragment if needed.

Hello.

First of all, you should open TaskManager and Processes tab and see what process is consuming high CPU percentage.

Then you should find out what that process is all about and try to find the solution accordingly.

You can use search engines ( Google, etc. ) to find about the high-CPU processes which look unfamiliar to you.

Once I had this problem. Svchost.exe prosess was consuming the high CPU percentage. Not always but from time to time.

Svchost.exe appears to have four or five instances in TaskManager. They are all related to Windows itself.

In my case, svchost.exe of Microsoft Update was the culprit. I uninstalled Microsoft update and high CPU consumption returned to normal levels.

Hope the above helps.

Regards

suatcini

Try posting your hijack log at the location below. I am not qualified to make corrections for you.

http://hijackthis.de/index.php

Did you try System Restore to an earlier date?
3. System Restore to an earlier date.
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore.
You can only Restore to dates they have selected. (They look Blacker.
You can also use System Restore by
Start - Run - Type msconfig - OK
At the bottom use Launch System Restore.
This sometimes works when the other Restore won't.

Hijack has a way of removing any and all file. Just run it again. You better be careful.
In the Hijack toolbar at the top open and click on Find. Type in what you are looking for.It may have a backup for a deleted file.
Before you delete study what you are doing.

C:\WINDOWS\system\csrss.exe If this is the file you want to delete type it in the find area and it will be highlighted.

This is all new to me so use your own judgement or get help.
