Any tips what I can do?
I recently installed Adobe Creative Suite, and defagged the Harddrive, but the computer seems much slower when several applications are open, or after it's been switched on for a while. It works a lot on the hard disk whenever I swap windows or want right-click for the context menu ... any simle thing can take much longer than when the computer was new. What should I check + try to do?

- Make a backup of your disk (so no damage is done) - Run anti spyware Progs like spybot or ad-aware - Check if things start up that you do not use like adobe fo instance. Run msconfig to do so.

Right-click on the taskbar and open Task Manager. Click the top of the column labelled CPU. Click again if necessary so that the process using the most CPU time is at the top of the list. What process is it?
Now click the Mem Usage column and again bring the process using the most memory to the top: what is it?
