how can I move from drive 1 to drive 2 to free up space and speed up computer
d-1 6 gb
d-2 40 gb

To speed up your computer, get rid of the 6GB & run Windows from the 40GB. Or better yet, get a newer, faster, larger hard drive. And if you only have 198MB RAM, that's another reason your PC runs slowly. You should have at least 512MB, more would be better.

You would want to use clone software [free on the internet] to clone the 6gig to the 40. Then you would swap the cables to the drives making the 40gig primary.
