open the case and make sure all the fans are working including the one in the Power Supply. Clean out all the dust bunnys. Best to use a bottle of compressed air. I do use a regular vaccuum cleaner with a hoe and brush attachment.

Could be that the PSU is on the way out too.

best of luck Frank :

Hi: a) overheating
try taking the cover off the computer tower, blow
out the dust and junk inside, then point a housefan
at the inards. Run the computer like that for a while. Does
the problem go away...If so, make sure that all fans are
running inside and if so, you might want another fan...
a larger power supply.
b) power supply is failing ,Try another power supply.
if shut down automatically, that could be P/Supply problem
Check the Power supply Fan is operating, ( over heat )
And check with another P/supply unit (could be Power supply unit circuit problem )
c) motherboard issues
d) CPU died/failing/ Overclocked
E) Trojan

Unless its a physical/electrical problem of course.
Bon Courage..

make sure your bearings on your fan arent clogged, jammed dirty etc... blow the dust out and make sure there arent anything the vents of the computer. if the computer isnt in a well ventilated place, it will get dirty more often. a good way to permanently solve this problem is also to get a fanless cooling system for your PC.
