Computer shuts down for no reason

Specs: Windows XP Pro 2002 SP 2, P4 3.07GHz/960MB Ram

computer shuts down for no reason. i have set to not restart on sys failure but did it anyways. Gives me error upon reboot includes C:\DOCUME~1\tim\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER7036.dir00\Mini072607-03.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\tim\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER7036.dir00\sysdata.xml
Had the problem for some time now, formatted hardrive/reinstalled windows/installed all drivers for mb/updated mb drivers, not sure what else to do, any help would be appriceiated!

Could be a hardware issue, that would explain why the format/reinstall didn't fix it.

I noticed temp files in your post.
Try Ccleaner: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4...
and remove all it finds
Also ATF Cleaner: http://www.majorgeeks.com/ATF_Clean...
and remove all it finds
Regscrubxp : http://www.majorgeeks.com/download....
is an easy program to clean up your registry.
