Hello,

I am having this problem where whenever I play some of my high graphic game. Games that use like lots of resources such as Unreal tournament 2003 and Soldier of fortune 2. The computer just restarts. I have automatically restart disabled in system settings but the system still just copmletely resets! I had the same problem on my old motherboard but have recently upgraded. The only things that are the same is the ram and case. I sort of think it is the Ram. If I have PC66 Ram running in a PC100/133 system would that cause this problem? Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated. My power box is 400Watt and graphics is AGP Geforce 4 MX440 so I don't think the problem is there..
Cheers.

I have two friends and their windows crashed with blue screen and auto restarted. After analyse their minidumps and the problem is related to nVidia GE Force Display Card Driver. If your PC restarted because of blue screen, probably it is nVidia GE display card driver problem and you can confirm by analyze the minidump. If your PC auto-restart without blue screen, it is low or unsteady Power supply. If it is overheat within the mother board, most mother board shuts down the PC instead of restart. Shutdown the PC cools down the PC, restart could not resolve the overheat problem.

Hope it can help you
